The AS-9000 Transcription Kit includes a 4
button footswitch (RS-31) and stereo headset to ensure ergonomic working
by the transcriptionist.
In addition, process efficiency is optimised thanks to the new "Olympus
Dictation Management System - Transcription Module" bundled with this
Transcription Kit. Besides making secure file management easier than ever
before, it offers multiple file transfer options to suit individual
requirements. The Olympus AS-9000 is designed to be integrated into the workflow
of any office system to significantly streamline data sharing and distribution
of dictations between professionals, departments and office locations. Olympus
transcription module (ODMS) is used worldwide by legal, medical and outsource
transcription services of all sizes. The software can handle a single typist
setup or a typing pool. Digital dictation can be emailed, dropped into a shared
network drive or onto an FTP server and ODMS transcription module will
automatically load the audio and alert the typist. Completed transcription can
also be returned to the Author through the software marking the audio as
transcribed and completing the digital dictation and transcription workflow
cycle.

Special email and FTP functions allow dictation files to be automatically routed to predetermined locations or addresses upon downloading. Dictation files are automatically sorted by sender upon receipt, and document files are automatically entered into the workflow.

Created document files are automatically managed in association with dictation files (Windows only).
Multiple Format Playback :
DSS, DSS Pro, WMA, MP3 and WAV/AIFF audio formats can be played in the background when another application – such as word processing software – is running.
Foot Switch Control :
A redesigned, ergonomic, four-button foot switch (RS-31) allows for hands-free control of the playback process.
Expanded FTP Support :
The next-generation AS-9000 Transcription Kit supports passive mode and SSL protocols (Windows only).
Enhanced Compatibility :
